What is ResumeHarbor?

ResumeHarbor is an accessible, AI-assisted tool for building, importing, and tailoring résumés and cover letters. It reorders and sharpens what you actually did, and never invents anything you didn’t. You build a reusable career profile once, then tailor it to specific job postings.

How does it work?

You create an account, build or import your profile, and add a job posting. The app then helps you produce an ATS-friendly résumé aligned to that job and a matching cover letter, which you can preview, edit, and export.

Does the AI make up experience for me?

No. The AI is instructed never to invent employers, job titles, dates, education, certifications, skills, or accomplishments. It improves wording, structure, and keyword alignment using only the information you provide, and it tells you when something is missing rather than fabricating it.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Your résumé and job-posting text are sent to a third-party AI provider only to generate your results. We do not use your data to train AI models. See our privacy policy and your data page for details.

What files can I import?

You can upload a Word document or PDF file (up to 5 MB), paste résumé text, or provide a public link. Imported résumés are parsed into a structured profile that you review and edit before anything is saved.

What can I export?

You can export your résumé and cover letter as DOCX or tagged PDF files containing real text (not images), formatted to be ATS-friendly.

How much does it cost?

Plans are priced by the job. Embark is $15 a month for up to 25 jobs, Voyage is $30 a month for up to 75 jobs, and Odyssey is $45 a month for up to 200 jobs. Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Manage billing from your account.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account page. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Is ResumeHarbor accessible?

Yes. ResumeHarbor targets WCAG 2.2 AA and is built for keyboard-only and screen-reader use, with labeled controls, visible focus, and status announcements.
